10 Things About Me:

Q. When I need to get away or escape from the hustle and bustle of life, I...

    Go home for lunch.

Q. Who are the 3 people you most admire, other than Christ? Why? (living or dead)

  1. Parents: Gave me what I couldn't: a home, a family and a foundation.

  2. Grandparents: For different reasons, they were all extremely successful, hard-working and entertaining.

  3. David/Jan Freeman: Because they lived their faith in tangible ways.
Q. What's the best or worst advice you have ever received?

Don't let other people make decisions for you.

Q. If they made a movie about your life, what would the title be?

"Ishtar II: Way Better than the Prequel"

Q. What is your favorite scripture / scriptural passage? Why?

Hebrews 13:5:  "I will never leave you or forsake you."  This verse is a comfort when that's needed and warning when that's needed, but always a reminder, I'm not in this alone.

Q. What I like best about living for God is...

The confidence that comes from sticking with a winner.

Q. What was your first vehicle? (car/truck, year, etc, short comments are cool too)

1970 Maverick for $300 from my dad. After I paid him, he said, remember what the Proverb says: "A fool and his money are soon parted".

Q. As a child, what was your favorite Sunday school story and why?

Whatever was shown on flannelboard. I was amazed at how that stuff could defy gravity and how a good storyteller could bring a piece of paper to life.

Q. What characteristic of each parent do you most hope to emulate?

    Wisdom & perseverance

Q. I'm proudest of FBC because...

Of the way I've seen the "family" respond to each other in difficult times; willingness to do what's necessary to take care of each other
